The fishermen will lament, and all those who fish in the Nile 1 will mourn, and those who spread nets on the waters will languish.


Behold, I will send for many fishermen, says the LORD, and they shall fish them up; and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks.


For among my people are found wicked men: they watch, as fowlers lie in wait; they set a trap, they catch men.


Because you are glad, because you rejoice, O you who plunder my heritage, because you are wanton as a heifer that treads out [the grain], and neigh as strong horses;
