When Avram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Avram, and said to him, *I am El Shaddai. Walk before me, and be blameless.


She hurried, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again to the well to draw, and drew for all his camels.


He said to me, 'The LORD, before whom I walk, will send his angel with you, and prosper your way. You shall take a wife for my son of my relatives, and of my father's house.


He came near, and kissed him. He smelled the smell of his clothing, and blessed him, and said, *Behold, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD has blessed.


Make me savory food, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat, and that my soul may bless you before I die.*


Ya`akov vowed a vow, saying, *If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and clothing to put on,


then this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, will be God's house. Of all that you will give me I will surely give the tenth to you.*


May El Shaddai bless you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, that you may be a company of peoples,


Let us arise, and go up to Beit-El. I will make there an altar to God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.*


the angel who has redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads, and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Avraham and Yitzchak. Let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.*


*Yosef is a fruitful vine, a fruitful vine by a spring. His branches run over the wall.


But his bow remained strong. The arms of his hands were made strong, by the hands of the Mighty One of Ya`akov, (from there is the shepherd, the stone of Yisra'el),


All these are the twelve tribes of Yisra'el, and this is what their father spoke to them and blessed them. He blessed everyone according to his blessing.


This is the history of the generations of Noach. Noach was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. Noach walked with God.


Shlomo said, You have shown to your servant David my father great loving kindness, according as he walked before you in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with you; and you have kept for him this great loving kindness, that you have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.


The sons of Re'uven the firstborn of Yisra'el (for he was the firstborn; but, because he defiled his father's couch, his birthright was given to the sons of Yosef the son of Yisra'el; and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.


I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.


Trust in the LORD, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.


Go, and gather the elders of Yisra'el together, and tell them, 'The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Avraham, of Yitzchak, and of Ya`akov, has appeared to me, saying, *I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt;


*That they may believe that the LORD, the God of their fathers, the God of Avraham, the God of Yitzchak, and the God of Ya`akov, has appeared to you.*


The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, whether he eats little or much; but the abundance of the rich will not allow him to sleep.


Behold, that which I have seen to be good and proper is for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy good in all his labor, in which he labors under the sun, all the days of his life which God has given him; for this is his portion.


All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.


and when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, *This is the way. Walk in it.*


he will dwell on high. His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks. His bread will be supplied. His waters will be sure.


and they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the army of the sky, which they have loved, and which they have served, and after which they have walked, and which they have sought, and which they have worshiped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried, they shall be for dung on the surface of the earth.


They were both righteous before God, walking blamelessly in all the mitzvot and ordinances of the Lord.


Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.


For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.


This is the blessing, with which Moshe the man of God blessed the children of Yisra'el before his death.


As therefore you received Messiah Yeshua, the Lord, walk in him,


to the end that you should walk worthily of God, who calls you into his own Kingdom and glory.


By faith, Ya`akov, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Yosef, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.
