He recognized it, and said, *It is my son's coat. An evil animal has devoured him. Yosef is without doubt torn in pieces.*


All his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. He said, *For I will go down to She'ol to my son mourning.* His father wept for him.


Ya`akov, their father, said to them, *You have bereaved me of my children! Yosef is no more, Shim`on is no more, and you want to take Binyamin away. All these things are against me.*


They told him, saying, *Yosef is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt.* His heart fainted, for he didn't believe them.


Now the eyes of Yisra'el were dim for age, so that he couldn't see. He brought them near to him; and he kissed them, and embraced them.


Yosef brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth.


Yes, may you see your children's children. Shalom be upon Yisra'el.


Children's children are the crown of old men; the glory of children are their parents.


Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
