One who had escaped came and told Avram, the Hebrew. Now he lived by the oaks of Mamre, the Amori, brother of Eshkol, and brother of `Aner; and these were allies of Avram.


Yosef's master took him, and put him into the prison, the place where the king's prisoners were bound, and he was there in custody.


When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said to Yosef, *I also was in my dream, and behold, three baskets of white bread were on my head.


There was with us there a young man, a Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard, and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams. To each man according to his dream he interpreted.


They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,


for they have opened the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit against me. They have spoken to me with a lying tongue.


*Anyone who kidnaps someone and sells him, or if he is found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.


My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions' mouths, and they have not hurt me; because as before him innocence was found in me; and also before you, O king, have I done no hurt.


Yeshua answered them, *I have shown you many good works from my Father. For which of those works do you stone me?*


But this happened so that the word may be fulfilled which was written in their Torah, 'They hated me without a cause.'
