Lavan had two daughters. The name of the elder was Le'ah, and the name of the younger was Rachel.


He went in also to Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more than Le'ah, and served with him yet seven other years.


Ya`akov lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esav was coming, and with him four hundred men. He divided the children between Le'ah, Rachel, and the two handmaids.


He himself passed over in front of them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.


Now Yisra'el loved Yosef more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age, and he made him a coat of many colors.
