See now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have magnified your loving kindness, which you have shown to me in saving my life. I can't escape to the mountain, lest evil overtake me, and I die.


Ya`akov called the name of the place Peni'el: for, he said, *I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.*


Please take the gift that I brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough.* He urged him, and he took it.


Esav said, *I have enough, my brother; let that which you have be yours.*


Yehudah spoke to him, saying, *The man solemnly warned us, saying, 'You shall not see my face, unless your brother is with you.'

He prays to God, and he is favorable to him, so that he sees his face with joy. He restores to man his righteousness.


By this I know that you delight in me, because my enemy doesn't triumph over me.


Thus says the LORD, The people who were left of the sword found favor in the wilderness; even Yisra'el, when I went to cause him to rest.


See that you don't despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.


They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
