Now Lavan had gone to shear his sheep: and Rachel stole the terafim that were her father's.


Now Rachel had taken the terafim, put them in the camel's saddle, and sat on them. Lavan felt about all the tent, but didn't find them.


Ya`akov was angry, and argued with Lavan. Ya`akov answered Lavan, *What is my trespass? What is my sin, that you have hotly pursued after me?


Bat-Sheva therefore went to king Shlomo, to speak to him for Adoniyahu. The king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself to her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a throne to be set for the king's mother; and she sat on his right hand.
