Avraham took another wife, and her name was Keturah.


Yokshan became the father of Sheva, and Dedan. The sons of Dedan were Ashurim, Letushim, and Le'ummim.


Chusham died, and Chadad, the son of Bedad, who struck Midyan in the field of Mo'av, reigned in his place. The name of his city was `Avit.


Midyanim who were merchants passed by, and they drew and lifted up Yosef out of the pit, and sold Yosef to the Yishme`elim for twenty pieces of silver. They brought Yosef into Egypt.


The Midyanim sold him into Egypt to Potifar, an officer of Par`oh's, the captain of the guard.


They arose out of Midyan, and came to Paran; and they took men with them out of Paran, and they came to Egypt, to Par`oh king of Egypt, who gave him a house, and appointed him food, and gave him land.


Now when Iyov's three friends heard of all this evil that had come on him, they each came from his own place: Elifaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuchite, and Tzofar the Na`amatite, and they made an appointment together to come to sympathize with him and to comfort him.
