Therefore the well was called Be'er-Lachai-Ro'i. Behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.


Avraham traveled from there toward the land of the South, and lived between Kadesh and Shur. He lived as a foreigner in Gerar.


Rivka arose with her ladies. They rode on the camels, and followed the man. The servant took Rivka, and went his way.


It happened after the death of Avraham that God blessed Yitzchak, his son. Yitzchak lived by Be'er-Lachai-Ro'i.
