Then Lavan and Betu'el answered, *The thing proceeds from the LORD. We can't speak to you bad or good.


The servant brought forth jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and clothing, and gave them to Rivka. He also gave precious things to her brother and her mother.


They ate and drank, he and the men who were with him, and stayed all night. They rose up in the morning, and he said, *Send me away to my master.*


They called Rivka, and said to her, *Will you go with this man?* She said, *I will go.*


They blessed Rivka, and said to her, *Our sister, may you be the mother of thousands of ten thousands, and let your seed possess the gate of those who hate them.*


Devorah, Rivka's nurse, died, and she was buried below Beit-El under the oak; and the name of it was called Allon-Bakhut.


Have I conceived all this people? Have I brought them forth, that you should tell me, Carry them in your bosom, as a nurse carries a nursing infant, to the land which you swore to their fathers?


For neither were we at any time found using words of flattery, as you know, nor a cloak of covetousness (God is witness),
