Avraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread and a bottle of water, and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder; and gave her the child, and sent her away. She departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Be'er-Sheva.


So they made a covenant at Be'er-Sheva. Avimelekh rose up with Pikhol, the captain of his army, and they returned into the land of the Pelishtim.


He went up from there to Be'er-Sheva.


They rose up some time in the morning, and swore one to another. Yitzchak sent them away, and they departed from him in shalom.


He called it Shibah. Therefore the name of the city is Be'er-Sheva to this day.


Yisra'el traveled with all that he had, and came to Be'er-Sheva, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father, Yitzchak.


But I counsel that all Yisra'el be gathered together to you, from Dan even to Be'er-Sheva, as the sand that is by the sea for multitude; and that you go to battle in your own person.


and came to the stronghold of Tzor, and to all the cities of the Chivvi, and of the Kena`anim; and they went out to the south of Yehudah, at Be'er-Sheva.


When he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Be'er-Sheva, which belongs to Yehudah, and left his servant there.
