Avraham said to God, *Oh that Yishma'el might live before you!*


Avram fell on his face. God talked with him, saying,


Now Avraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age. It had ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.


Sarah laughed within herself, saying, *After I have grown old will I have pleasure, my lord being old also?*


Avraham was one hundred years old when his son, Yitzchak, was born to him.


Sarah said, *God has made me laugh. Everyone who hears will laugh with me.*


She said, *Who would have said to Avraham, that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.*


David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of the LORD standing between earth and the sky, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Yerushalayim. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell on their faces.


Then Iyov arose, and tore his robe, and shaved his head, and fell down on the ground, and worshiped.
