Ach'av said to Eliyahu, Have you found me, my enemy? He answered, I have found you, because you have sold yourself to do that which is evil in the sight of the LORD.


and say, Thus says the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in shalom.


The king of Yisra'el said to Yehoshafat, there is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the LORD, Mikhayahu the son of Yimlah: but I hate him; for he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. Yehoshafat said, *Don't let the king say so.*


It happened, as he talked with him, that [the king] said to him, Have we made you of the king's counsel? Stop! Why should you be struck down? Then the prophet stopped, and said, I know that God has determined to destroy you, because you have done this, and have not listened to my counsel.


Let the righteous strike me, it is kindness; let him reprove me, it is like oil on the head; don't let my head refuse it; Yet my prayer is always against evil deeds.


Don't reprove a scoffer, lest he hate you. Reprove a wise man, and he will love you.


They hate him who reproves in the gate, and they abhor him who speaks blamelessly.


The world can't hate you, but it hates me, because I testify about it, that its works are evil.


But because I tell the truth, you don't believe me.


But when I saw that they didn't walk uprightly according to the truth of the Good News, I said to Kefa before them all, *If you, being a Jew, live as the Gentiles do, and not as the Jews do, why do you compel the Gentiles to live as the Jews do?


to whom we gave no place in the way of subjection, not for an hour, that the truth of the Good News might continue with you.


What was the blessing you enjoyed? For I testify to you that, if possible, you would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me.


They zealously seek you in no good way. No, they desire to alienate you, that you may seek them.


You were running well! Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth?
