Sha'ul was consenting to his death. A great persecution arose against the assembly which was in Yerushalayim in that day. They were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Yehudah and Shomron, except for the emissaries.


But Sha'ul ravaged the assembly, entering into every house, and dragged both men and women off to prison.


All who heard him were amazed, and said, *Isn't this he who in Yerushalayim made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief Kohanim!*


When Sha'ul had come to Yerushalayim, he tried to join himself to the talmidim; but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a talmid.


Give no occasions for stumbling, either to Jews, or to Greeks, or to the assembly of God;


For I am the least of the emissaries, who is not worthy to be called an emissary, because I persecuted the assembly of God.


concerning zeal, persecuting the assembly; concerning the righteousness which is in the Torah, found blameless.


although I was before a blasphemer, a persecutor, and insolent. However, I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.


The grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Messiah Yeshua.
