They didn't see one another, neither did anyone rise from his place for three days; but all the children of Yisra'el had light in their dwellings.


The blood shall be to you for a token on the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be on you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.


Then the magicians said to Par`oh, *This is the finger of God:* and Par`oh's heart was hardened, and he didn't listen to them; as the LORD had spoken.


I will set apart in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end you may know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.


Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Yisra'el were, there was no hail.


The LORD appointed a set time, saying, *Tomorrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.*


The LORD did that thing on the next day; and all the livestock of Egypt died, but of the livestock of the children of Yisra'el, not one died.


*I also have withheld the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest; and I caused it to rain on one city, and caused it not to rain on another city. One place was rained on, and the piece where it didn't rain withered.


Then you shall return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who doesn't serve him.
