1 The LORD said to Moshe, *Now you shall see what I will do to Par`oh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land.*

and that captain answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? and he said, Behold, you shall see it with your eyes, but shall not eat of it:


Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might this thing be? He said, Behold, you shall see it with your eyes, but shall not eat of it.


You shall not need to fight in this [battle]: set yourselves, stand you still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Yehudah and Yerushalayim; don't be afraid, nor be dismayed: tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD is with you.


*Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,* says the LORD; *I will set him in safety from those who malign him.*


The words of the LORD are flawless words, as silver refined in a clay furnace, purified seven times.


With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm; for his loving kindness endures forever:


You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted.


The LORD said to Moshe, *Yet one plague more will I bring on Par`oh, and on Egypt; afterwards he will let you go. When he lets you go, he will surely thrust you out altogether.


He called for Moshe and Aharon by night, and said, *Rise up, get out from among my people, both you and the children of Yisra'el; and go, serve the LORD, as you have said!


The Egyptians were urgent with the people, to send them out of the land in haste, for they said, *We are all dead men.*


They baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt; for it wasn't leavened, because they were thrust out of Egypt, and couldn't wait, neither had they prepared for themselves any food.


It shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, 'What is this?' that you shall tell him, 'By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage;


It shall be for a sign on your hand, and for symbols between your eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.*


Moshe said to the people, *Remember this day, in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.


It shall be for a sign to you on your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that the law of the LORD may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand the LORD has brought you out of Egypt.


Moshe said to the people, *Don't be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall never see them again.


Your right hand, LORD, is glorious in power. Your right hand, LORD, dashes the enemy in pieces.


But Par`oh will not listen to you, and I will lay my hand on Egypt, and bring forth my armies, my people the children of Yisra'el, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.


The Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth my hand on Egypt, and bring out the children of Yisra'el from among them.*


who caused his glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moshe? who divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name?


The LORD said to Moshe, Has the LORD's hand grown short? now shall you see whether my word shall happen to you or not.


Surely there is no enchantment with Ya`akov; Neither is there any divination with Yisra'el. Now it shall be said of Ya`akov and of Yisra'el, What has God done!


The God of this people chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they stayed as aliens in the land of Egypt, and with an uplifted arm, he led them out of it.


See now that I, even I, am he, There is no god with me. I kill, and I make alive. I wound, and I heal. There is no one who can deliver out of my hand.


Or has God tried to go and take him a nation from the midst of [another] nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
