The sons of `Amram: Aharon and Moshe; and Aharon was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons, forever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister to him, and to bless in his name, forever.


the son of Elkana, the son of Yerocham, the son of Eli'el, the son of To'ach,


Shlomo sent to Churam the king of Tzor, saying, As you dealt with David my father, and sent him cedars to build him a house in which to dwell, [even so deal with me].


Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him incense of sweet spices, and for the continual show bread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Shabbatot, and on the new moons, and on the set feasts of the LORD our God. This is [an ordinance] forever to Yisra'el.


and they withstood `Uzziyah the king, and said to him, It pertains not to you, `Uzziyah, to burn incense to the LORD, but to the Kohanim the sons of Aharon, who are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for you have trespassed; neither shall it be for your honor from the LORD God.


Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Yisra'el.


Let my prayer be set before you like incense; the lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice.


The LORD said to Moshe, *Take to yourself sweet spices, gum resin, and onycha, and galbanum; sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be an equal weight;


You shall put it before the veil that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with you.


When Aharon lights the lamps at evening, he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.


and he burnt incense of sweet spices on it, as the LORD commanded Moshe.


or any thing about which he has sworn falsely; he shall restore it even in full, and shall add a fifth part more to it. To him to whom it belongs he shall give it, in the day of his being found guilty.
