had prepared for him a great chamber, where before they laid the meal offerings, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the grain, the new wine, and the oil, which were given by mitzvah to the Levites, and the singers, and the porters; and the wave offerings for the Kohanim.


oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense,


*Also take fine spices: of liquid myrrh, five hundred shekels; and of fragrant cinnamon half as much, even two hundred and fifty; and of fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;


Whoever compounds any like it, or whoever puts any of it on a stranger, he shall be cut off from his people.'*


and you shall make incense of it, a perfume after the art of the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy:


Aharon shall burn incense of sweet spices on it every morning. When he tends the lamps, he shall burn it.

He shall take a censer full of coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and two handfuls of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the veil:


*'When anyone offers an offering of a meal offering to the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil on it, and put frankincense on it.


You shall put oil on it, and lay frankincense on it: it is a meal offering.


You shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be to the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire to the LORD.


*'But if he can't afford two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he shall bring his offering for that in which he has sinned, the tenth part of an efah of fine flour for a sin offering. He shall put no oil on it, neither shall he put any frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.


*The charge of El`azar the son of Aharon the Kohen shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the charge of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings.*
