In the tent of meeting, outside the veil which is before the testimony, Aharon and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the LORD: it shall be a statute forever throughout their generations on the behalf of the children of Yisra'el.


*Bring Aharon your brother, and his sons with him, near to you from among the children of Yisra'el, that he may minister to me in the Kohen's office, even Aharon, Nadav and Avihu, El`azar and Itamar, Aharon's sons.


Moshe said, *Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, yes, every man against his son, and against his brother; that he may bestow on you a blessing this day.*


You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the Kohen's office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.*


The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying,


Moshe brought Aharon's sons, and clothed them with coats, and tied sashes on them, and put headbands on them; as the LORD commanded Moshe.


You shall not go out from the door of the Tent of Meeting seven days, until the days of your consecration are fulfilled: for he shall consecrate you seven days.


and that he has brought you near, and all your brothers the sons of Levi with you? and seek you the priesthood also?


Fire came forth from the LORD, and devoured the two hundred fifty men who offered the incense.
