It is like the precious oil on the head, that ran down on the beard, even Aharon's beard; that came down on the edge of his robes;


I have found David, my servant. I have anointed him with my holy oil,


You shall put them on Aharon your brother, and on his sons with him, and shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the Kohen's office.


You shall put on Aharon the holy garments; and you shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the Kohen's office.


The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the humble; he has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening [of the prison] to those who are bound;


You shall not go out from the door of the Tent of Meeting, lest you die; for the anointing oil of the LORD is on you.* They did according to the word of Moshe.


*'He who is the Kohen Gadol among his brothers, upon whose head the anointing oil is poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not let the hair of his head hang loose, nor tear his clothes;


neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him. I am the LORD.


This is the anointing portion of Aharon, and the anointing portion of his sons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister to the LORD in the Kohen's office;


Then he said, *These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.*


and the congregation shall deliver the manslayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge, where he was fled: and he shall dwell therein until the death of the Kohen Gadol, who was anointed with the holy oil.


For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God gives the Spirit without measure.


As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.
