Yosef brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth.


His sons did to him just as he commanded them,


Bat-Sheva therefore went to king Shlomo, to speak to him for Adoniyahu. The king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself to her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a throne to be set for the king's mother; and she sat on his right hand.


Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariots of Yisra'el and the horsemen of it! He saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and tore them in two pieces.


*Anyone who attacks his father or his mother shall be surely put to death.


*Anyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death.


A fool despises his father's correction, but he who heeds reproof shows prudence.


Children's children are the crown of old men; the glory of children are their parents.


Whoever curses his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in blackness of darkness.


Whoever robs his father or his mother, and says, *It's not wrong.* He is a partner with a destroyer.


Length of days is in her right hand. In her left hand are riches and honor.

*A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, then where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is the respect due me? Says the LORD of Armies to you, Kohanim, who despise my name. You say, 'How have we despised your name?'


'Honor your father and mother.' And, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'*


You know the mitzvot: 'Do not murder,' 'Do not commit adultery,' 'Do not steal,' 'Do not give false testimony,' 'Do not defraud,' 'Honor your father and mother.'*


For Moshe said, 'Honor your father and your mother;' and, 'He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.'


You know the mitzvot: 'Don't commit adultery,' 'Don't murder,' 'Don't steal,' 'Don't give false testimony,' 'Honor your father and your mother.'*


subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Messiah.


Therefore shall you keep all the mitzvah which I command you this day, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land, where you go over to possess it;


and that you may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD swore to your fathers to give to them and to their seed, a land flowing with milk and honey.


If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, who will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and, though they chasten him, will not listen to them;


A perfect and just weight shall you have; a perfect and just measure shall you have: that your days may be long in the land which the LORD your God gives you.


Cursed be he who sets light by his father or his mother. All the people shall say, Amein.


For it is no vain thing for you; because it is your life, and through this thing you shall prolong your days in the land, where you go over the Yarden to possess it.

You shall walk in all the way which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.


that you might fear the LORD your God, to keep all his statutes and his mitzvot, which I command you, you, and your son, and your son's son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.


Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord.
