Moshe went down from the mountain to the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.


It happened on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain, and the sound of an exceedingly loud shofar; and all the people who were in the camp trembled.


Moshe led the people out of the camp to meet God; and they stood at the lower part of the mountain.


When the sound of the shofar grew louder and louder, Moshe spoke, and God answered him by a voice.


No one shall come up with you; neither let anyone be seen throughout all the mountain; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mountain.*


in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last shofar. For the shofar will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.


For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the chief angel, and with God's shofar. The dead in Messiah will rise first,


for they could not stand that which was commanded, *If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned;*


The ambushers hurried, and rushed on Gevah; and the ambushers drew themselves along, and struck all the city with the edge of the sword.
