Avshalom said to him, Behold, your matters are good and right; but there is no man deputized of the king to hear you.


Whenever any controversy shall come to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and mitzvah, statutes and ordinances, you shall warn them, that they not be guilty towards the LORD, and so wrath come on you and on your brothers: this do, and you shall not be guilty.


*If I have despised the cause of my male servant or of my female servant, when they contended with me;


Moshe' father-in-law said to him, *The thing that you do is not good.


He went out the second day, and behold, two men of the Hebrews were fighting with each other. He said to him who did the wrong, *Why do you strike your fellow?*


*Keep far from a false charge, and don't kill the innocent and righteous: for I will not justify the wicked.


He said to the elders, *Wait here for us, until we come again to you. Behold, Aharon and Chur are with you. Whoever is involved in a dispute can go to them.*


You shall speak to the children of Yisra'el, saying, 'Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.


The LORD said to Moshe, The man shall surely be put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside of the camp.

Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the holy ones?


Behold, I have taught you statutes and ordinances, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do so in the midst of the land where you go in to possess it.


Moshe called to all Yisra'el, and said to them, Hear, Yisra'el, the statutes and the ordinances which I speak in your ears this day, that you may learn them, and observe to do them.


Now this is the mitzvah, the statutes, and the ordinances, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land where you go over to possess it;


Moreover as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will instruct you in the good and the right way.
