The fear of God was on all the kingdoms of the countries, when they heard that the LORD fought against the enemies of Yisra'el.


I looked, and rose up, and said to the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Don't be you afraid of them: remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.


It happened, when all our enemies heard [of it], that all the nations that were about us feared, and were much cast down in their own eyes; for they perceived that this work was worked of our God.


You divided the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; and their pursuers you did cast into the depths, as a stone into the mighty waters.


But the eyes of the wicked shall fail. They shall have no way to flee. Their hope shall be the giving up of the spirit.*


He shall flee from the iron weapon. The bronze arrow shall strike him through.


For it hurls at him, and does not spare, as he flees away from his hand.


He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire.


*Kings of armies flee! They flee!* She who waits at home divides the spoil,


At your rebuke, God of Ya`akov, both chariot and horse are cast into a deep sleep.


The LORD will fight for you, and you shall be still.*


The Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten myself honor over Par`oh, over his chariots, and over his horsemen.*


I will harden Par`oh's heart, and he will follow after them; and I will get honor over Par`oh, and over all his armies; and the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD.* They did so.


The LORD is a man of war. The LORD is his name.


For thus says the LORD to me, *As the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, if a multitude of shepherds is called together against him, will not be dismayed at their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them, so the LORD of Armies will come down to fight on Mount Tziyon and on its heights.


and with you will I break in pieces the horse and his rider;


But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it will devour its palaces, with shouting in the day of battle, with a storm in the day of the whirlwind;


As if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him; Or he went into the house and leaned his hand on the wall, and a snake bit him.


I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and he said, *Strike the tops of the pillars, that the thresholds may shake; and break them in pieces on the head of all of them; and I will kill the last of them with the sword: there shall not one of them flee away, and there shall not one of them escape.


The LORD your God who goes before you, he will fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes,


You shall not fear them; for the LORD your God, he it is who fights for you.


For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.


There was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD listened to the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Yisra'el.


The LORD confused Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his army, with the edge of the sword before Barak; and Sisera alighted from his chariot, and fled away on his feet.
