God remembered Noach, all the animals, and all the livestock that were with him in the teivah; and God made a wind to pass over the earth. The waters subsided.


Eliyahu took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and struck the waters, and they were divided here and there, so that they two went over on dry ground.


You divided the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; and their pursuers you did cast into the depths, as a stone into the mighty waters.


He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rachav.


By what way is the lightning distributed, or the east wind scattered on the earth?

He has stretched out his hand over the sea. He has shaken the kingdoms. The LORD has ordered the destruction of Kena`an's strongholds.


Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;


who says to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up your rivers;


Why, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it can't redeem? or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stink, because there is no water, and die for thirst.


Isn't it you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?


For I am the LORD your God, who stirs up the sea, so that the waves of it roar: the LORD of Armies is his name.


who caused his glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moshe? who divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name?


who led them through the depths, as a horse in the wilderness, so that they didn't stumble?


Was the LORD displeased with the rivers? Was your anger against the rivers, or your wrath against the sea, that you rode on your horses, on your chariots of salvation?


This man led them out, having worked wonders and signs in Egypt, in the Sea of Suf, and in the wilderness for forty years.


For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Sea of Suf before you, when you came out of Egypt; and what you did to the two kings of the Amori, who were beyond the Yarden, to Sichon and to `Og, whom you utterly destroyed.


The Kohanim who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Yarden; and all Yisra'el passed over on dry ground, until all the nation were passed clean over the Yarden.


For the LORD your God dried up the waters of the Yarden from before you, until you were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Sea of Suf, which he dried up from before us, until we were passed over;
