Now these are your servants and your people, whom you have redeemed by your great power, and by your strong hand.


And brought out Yisra'el from among them; for his loving kindness endures forever;


With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm; for his loving kindness endures forever:


You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted.


This day shall be to you for a memorial, and you shall keep it a feast to the LORD: throughout your generations you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.


It happened at the end of four hundred thirty years, even the same day it happened, that all the armies of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.


It shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, 'What is this?' that you shall tell him, 'By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage;


It shall be for a sign on your hand, and for symbols between your eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.*


Moshe said to the people, *Remember this day, in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.


I will put forth my hand and strike Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst of it, and after that he will let you go.


But Par`oh will not listen to you, and I will lay my hand on Egypt, and bring forth my armies, my people the children of Yisra'el, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.


for they will be a garland to grace your head, and chains around your neck.


My son, let them not depart from your eyes. Keep sound wisdom and discretion:


Until an arrow strikes through his liver, as a bird hurries to the snare, and doesn't know that it will cost his life.


Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm; for love is strong as death. Jealousy is as cruel as She'ol. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a very flame of the LORD.


In that day, the LORD with his hard and great and strong sword will punish livyatan, the fleeing serpent, and livyatan the twisted serpent; and he will kill the dragon that is in the sea.


Behold, the Lord GOD will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.


One will say, 'I am the LORD's;' and another will be called by the name of Ya`akov; and another will write with his hand 'to the LORD,' and honor the name of Yisra'el.*


Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.


Awake, awake, put on strength, arm of the LORD; awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Isn't it you who did cut Rachav in pieces, who pierced the monster?


As for me, this is my covenant with them, says the LORD: my Spirit who is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed, says the LORD, from henceforth and forever.


As I live, says the LORD, though Konyahu the son of Yehoiakim king of Yehudah were the signet on my right hand, yet would I pluck you there;


Now, Lord our God, who has brought your people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have gotten you renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.


The LORD thunders his voice before his army; for his forces are very great; for he is strong who obeys his command; for the day of the LORD is great and very awesome, and who can endure it?


and it shall be to you for a tzitzit, that you may look on it, and remember all the mitzvot of the LORD, and do them; and that you not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to play the prostitute;


But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their tefillin broad, enlarge the tzitziyot of their garments,


But what does it say? *The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;* that is, the word of faith, which we preach:


But the word is very near to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it.


You shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm: therefore the LORD your God commanded you to keep the day of Shabbat.


then you shall tell your son, We were Par`oh's bondservants in Egypt: and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand;


These words, which I command you this day, shall be on your heart;


You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for symbols between your eyes.


Therefore in one day her plagues will come: death, mourning, and famine; and she will be utterly burned with fire; for the Lord God who has judged her is strong.


and they forsook the LORD, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the peoples who were round about them, and bowed themselves down to them: and they provoked the LORD to anger.
