So my righteousness will answer for me hereafter, when you come concerning my hire that is before you. Every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and black among the sheep, that might be with me, will be counted stolen.*


Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,


Now these are your servants and your people, whom you have redeemed by your great power, and by your strong hand.


And brought out Yisra'el from among them; for his loving kindness endures forever;


One generation will commend your works to another, and will declare your mighty acts.


We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, his strength, and his wondrous works that he has done.


and that you may tell in the hearing of your son, and of your son's son, what things I have done to Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that you may know that I am the LORD.*


It happened at the end of four hundred thirty years, even the same day it happened, that all the armies of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.


Moshe said to the people, *Remember this day, in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.


You shall tell your son in that day, saying, 'It is because of that which the LORD did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.'


It shall be for a sign to you on your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that the law of the LORD may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand the LORD has brought you out of Egypt.


*I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.


The LORD said to Moshe, *Now you shall see what I will do to Par`oh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land.*


Therefore tell the children of Yisra'el, 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments:


and I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God; and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.


Thus says the LORD, the God of Yisra'el: I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying,


Now, Lord our God, who has brought your people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have gotten you renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.


The God of this people chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they stayed as aliens in the land of Egypt, and with an uplifted arm, he led them out of it.


You shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm: therefore the LORD your God commanded you to keep the day of Shabbat.


*I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.


then beware lest you forget the LORD, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.


and if we have not [rather] out of carefulness done this, [and] of purpose, saying, In time to come your children might speak to our children, saying, What have you to do with the LORD, the God of Yisra'el?


for the LORD our God, he it is who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and who did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way in which we went, and among all the peoples through the midst of whom we passed;


that this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask in time to come, saying, What do you mean by these stones?


and they forsook the LORD, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the peoples who were round about them, and bowed themselves down to them: and they provoked the LORD to anger.


that the LORD sent a prophet to the children of Yisra'el: and he said to them, Thus says the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage;
