The king commanded all the people, saying, Keep the Pesach to the LORD your God, as it is written in this book of the covenant.


He has caused his wonderful works to be remembered. The LORD is gracious and merciful.


Your name, LORD, endures forever; your renown, LORD, throughout all generations.


You shall observe the feast of matzah; for in this same day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall you observe this day throughout your generations by an ordinance forever.


You shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons forever.


The LORD said to Moshe and Aharon, *This is the ordinance of the Pesach. There shall no foreigner eat of it,


and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Yisra'el shall kill it at evening.


You shall observe the feast of matzah. Seven days you shall eat matzah, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Aviv (for in it you came out from Egypt), and no one shall appear before me empty.


In the tent of meeting, outside the veil which is before the testimony, Aharon and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the LORD: it shall be a statute forever throughout their generations on the behalf of the children of Yisra'el.


Afterward Moshe and Aharon came, and said to Par`oh, *This is what the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, says, 'Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.'*


You shall prepare a meal offering with it morning by morning, the sixth part of an efah, and the third part of a hin of oil, to moisten the fine flour; a meal offering to the LORD continually by a perpetual ordinance.


On the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of matzah to the LORD. Seven days you shall eat matzah.


The crowns shall be to Chelem, and to Toviyah, and to Yedayah, and to Chen the son of Tzefanyah, for a memorial in the temple of the LORD.


The sons of Aharon, the Kohanim, shall blow the trumpets; and they shall be to you for a statute forever throughout your generations.


For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner [with you], a statute forever throughout your generations: as you are, so shall the foreigner be before the LORD.


to be a memorial to the children of Yisra'el, to the end that no stranger, who isn't of the seed of Aharon, comes near to burn incense before the LORD; that he not be as Korach, and as his company: as the LORD spoke to him by Moshe.


The LORD spoke to Aharon, I, behold, I have given you the charge of my wave offerings, even all the holy things of the children of Yisra'el; to you have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to your sons, as a portion forever.


Most certainly I tell you, wherever this Good News is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be spoken of as a memorial of her.*


He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and gave to them, saying, *This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.*


Observe the month of Aviv, and keep the Pesach to the LORD your God; for in the month of Aviv the LORD your God brought you forth out of Egypt by night.


and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your male servant, and your female servant, and the Levite who is within your gates, and the foreigner, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are in the midst of you, in the place which the LORD your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.


You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for symbols between your eyes.


then you shall tell them, Because the waters of the Yarden were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over the Yarden, the waters of the Yarden were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Yisra'el forever.


It was so from that day forward, that he made it a statute and an ordinance for Yisra'el to this day.
