For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.


He has given food to those who fear him. He always remembers his covenant.


He will fulfill the desire of those who fear him. He also will hear their cry, and will save them.


For you, God, have heard my vows. You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.


Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.


But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and the more they spread out. They were grieved because of the children of Yisra'el.


The midwives said to Par`oh, *Because the Hebrew women aren't like the Egyptian women; for they are vigorous, and give birth before the midwife comes to them.*


The children of Yisra'el were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and grew exceedingly mighty; and the land was filled with them.


Wicked people earn deceitful wages, but one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.


He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD; he will reward him.


Though a sinner commits crimes a hundred times, and lives long, yet surely I know that it will be better with those who fear God, who are reverent before him.


Tell the righteous *Good!* For they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.


Whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a talmid, most certainly I tell you he will in no way lose his reward.*


*The King will answer them, 'Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'


His mercy is for generations of generations on those who fear him.


For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the holy ones, and still do serve them.
