He said, *Behold, it is still the middle of the day, not time to gather the livestock together. Water the sheep, and go and feed them.*


They shall not be disappointed in the time of evil. In the days of famine they shall be satisfied.


Give a portion to seven, yes, even to eight; for you don't know what evil will be on the earth.


Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come, and the years draw near, when you will say, *I have no pleasure in them;*


Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in She'ol, where you are going.


The king answered, I know of a certainty that you would gain time, because you see the thing is gone from me.


Therefore a prudent person keeps silent in such a time, for it is an evil time.

Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.
