I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you.


Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of your law.


The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.


For the LORD has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes, the prophets; and he has covered your heads, the seers.


In that day, the deaf will hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind will see out of obscurity and out of darkness.


The eyes of those who see will not be dim, and the ears of those who hear will listen.


to open the blind eyes, to bring the prisoners out of the dungeon, and those who sit in darkness out of the prison.


Make the heart of this people fat. Make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.*


for this people's heart has grown callous, their ears are dull of hearing, they have closed their eyes; or else perhaps they might perceive with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and should turn again; and I would heal them.'

For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.


Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?


in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Messiah, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.


seeing it is God who said, *Light will shine out of darkness,* who has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Yeshua the Messiah.


For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.


in whom also we were assigned an inheritance, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel of his will;


in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,


that you were at that time separate from Messiah, alienated from the commonwealth of Yisra'el, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.


that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;


To me, the very least of all holy ones, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Messiah,


I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,


There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling;


For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,


I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Messiah Yeshua.


giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the holy ones in light;


if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven; of which I, Sha'ul, was made a servant.


to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Messiah in you, the hope of glory;


because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the Good News,


that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Messiah,


And let the shalom of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.


to the end that you should walk worthily of God, who calls you into his own Kingdom and glory.


But let us, since we belong to the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and, for a helmet, the hope of salvation.


To this end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire of goodness and work of faith, with power;


Now our Lord Yeshua the Messiah himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,


Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.


looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Yeshua the Messiah;


that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.


But remember the former days, in which, after you were enlightened, you endured a great struggle with sufferings;


For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,


Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who according to his great mercy became our father again to a living hope through the resurrection of Yeshua the Messiah from the dead,


not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing.


But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Messiah Yeshua, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
