(But there was none like Ach'av, who did sell himself to do that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, whom Izevel his wife stirred up.


Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established that it can't be moved.


But now, because he has not visited in his anger, neither does he greatly regard arrogance.


Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in his mitzvot.


He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great.


For you will eat the labor of your hands. You will be happy, and it will be well with you.


But the humble shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of shalom.


Worship the LORD in holy array. Tremble before him, all the earth.


God dealt well with the midwives, and the people multiplied, and grew very mighty.


Misfortune pursues sinners, but prosperity rewards the righteous.


Blessed is the man who always fears; but one who hardens his heart falls into trouble.


This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God, and keep his mitzvot; for this is the whole duty of man.


I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it; and God has done it, that men should fear before him.


This also is a grievous evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go. And what profit does he have who labors for the wind?


For in the multitude of dreams there are vanities, as well as in many words: but you must fear God.


All this have I seen in my days of vanity: there is a righteous man who perishes in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man who lives long in his evil-doing.


It is good that you should take hold of this. Yes, also from that don't withdraw your hand; for he who fears God will come forth from them all.


They are not humbled even to this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.


Then the King will tell those on his right hand, 'Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;


His mercy is for generations of generations on those who fear him.


But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God;


What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath made for destruction,


You shall not eat it; that it may go well with you, and with your children after you, when you shall do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD.


Observe and hear all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you forever, when you do that which is good and right in the eyes of the LORD your God.


You shall keep his statutes, and his mitzvot, which I command you this day, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD your God gives you, forever.


the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment;
