Ecclesiastes 12:13

He said, *Don't lay your hand on the boy, neither do anything to him. For now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.*


and keep the charge of the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, [and] his mitzvot, and his ordinances, and his testimonies, according to that which is written in the Torah of Moshe, that you may prosper in all that you do, and wherever you turn yourself.


To man he said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom. To depart from evil is understanding.'*


The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!


He will fulfill the desire of those who fear him. He also will hear their cry, and will save them.


The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness.


The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.


The fear of the LORD leads to life, then contentment; he rests and will not be touched by trouble.


Don't let your heart envy sinners; but rather fear the LORD all the day long.


I searched in my heart how to cheer my flesh with wine, my heart yet guiding me with wisdom, and how to lay hold of folly, until I might see what it was good for the sons of men that they should do under heaven all the days of their lives.


I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it; and God has done it, that men should fear before him.


For in the multitude of dreams there are vanities, as well as in many words: but you must fear God.


For who knows what is good for man in life, all the days of his vain life which he spends like a shadow? For who can tell a man what will be after him under the sun?


It is good that you should take hold of this. Yes, also from that don't withdraw your hand; for he who fears God will come forth from them all.


Though a sinner commits crimes a hundred times, and lives long, yet surely I know that it will be better with those who fear God, who are reverent before him.


Whoever keeps the mitzvah shall not come to harm, and his wise heart will know the time and procedure.


He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does the LORD require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?


His mercy is for generations of generations on those who fear him.


Now, Yisra'el, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,


You shall fear the LORD your God; him shall you serve; and to him shall you cleave, and by his name shall you swear.


the day that you stood before the LORD your God in Chorev, when the LORD said to me, Assemble me the people, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.


You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish from it, that you may keep the mitzvot of the LORD your God which I command you.

Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.


A voice came forth from the throne, saying, *Give praise to our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, the small and the great!*


Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider how great things he has done for you.
