David said to Shlomo his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: don't be afraid, nor be dismayed; for the LORD God, even my God, is with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished.


For if you turn again to the LORD, your brothers and your children shall find compassion before those who led them captive, and shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.


and said, I beg you, LORD, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his mitzvot:


Nevertheless in your manifold mercies you did not make a full end of them, nor forsake them; for you are a gracious and merciful God.


The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.


He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,


He has caused his wonderful works to be remembered. The LORD is gracious and merciful.


He has given food to those who fear him. He always remembers his covenant.


He has sent redemption to his people. He has ordained his covenant forever. His name is holy and awesome!


Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yes, our God is merciful.


But you, Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth.


For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you.


I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Ya`akov; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am the LORD.'*


Do not abhor [us], for your name's sake; do not disgrace the throne of your glory: remember, don't break your covenant with us.


For I am with you, says the LORD, to save you: for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have scattered you, but I will not make a full end of you; but I will correct you in measure, and will in no way leave you unpunished.


then I will remember my covenant with Ya`akov; and also my covenant with Yitzchak, and also my covenant with Avraham; and I will remember the land.


Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them; for I am the LORD their God;


but I will for their sake remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God. I am the LORD.'*


He prayed to the LORD, and said, *Please, LORD, wasn't this what I said when I was still in my own country? Therefore I hurried to flee to Tarshish, for I knew that you are a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and you relent of doing harm.


Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn't retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.


The LORD is slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, forgiving iniquity and disobedience; and that will by no means clear [the guilty], visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation.


to show mercy towards our fathers, to remember his holy covenant,


Be strong and of good courage, don't be afraid, nor be scared of them: for the LORD your God, he it is who does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.


The LORD, he it is who does go before you; he will be with you, he will not fail you, neither forsake you: don't be afraid, neither be dismayed.


Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, *I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.*


No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moshe, so I will be with you. I will not fail you nor forsake you.
