Behold, thus is the man blessed who fears the LORD.


But my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, didn't they overtake your fathers? *Then they repented and said, 'Just as the LORD of Armies determined to do to us, according to our ways, and according to our practices, so he has dealt with us.'*


the blessing, if you shall listen to the mitzvot of the LORD your God, which I command you this day;


But it shall come to pass, if you will not listen to the voice of the LORD your God, to observe to do all his mitzvot and his statutes which I command you this day, that all these curses shall come on you, and overtake you.


Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field.


All these curses shall come on you, and shall pursue you, and overtake you, until you are destroyed; because you didn't listen to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep his mitzvot and his statutes which he commanded you:


For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now, and of that which is to come.
