Le'ah conceived, and bore a son, and she named him Re'uven. For she said, *Because the LORD has looked at my affliction. For now my husband will love me.*


Le'ah said, *God has endowed me with a good dowry. Now my husband will live with me, because I have borne him six sons.* She named him Zevulun.


It shall happen, when the LORD your God shall bring you into the land where you go to possess it, that you shall set the blessing on Mount Gerizim, and the curse on Mount `Eval.


These shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people, when you are passed over the Yarden: Shim`on, and Levi, and Yehudah, and Yissakhar, and Yosef, and Binyamin.


The Levites shall answer, and tell all the men of Yisra'el with a loud voice,


It shall be, when you are passed over the Yarden, that you shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in Mount `Eval, and you shall plaster them with plaster.


All Yisra'el, and their elders and officers, and their judges, stood on this side of the ark and on that side before the Kohanim the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, as well the foreigner as the native; half of them in front of Mount Gerizim, and half of them in front of Mount `Eval; as Moshe the servant of the LORD had commanded at the first, that they should bless the people of Yisra'el.
