You did establish to yourself your people Yisra'el to be a people to you forever; and you, LORD, became their God.


Then I wouldn't be disappointed, when I consider all of your mitzvot.


For the LORD has chosen Ya`akov for himself; Yisra'el for his own possession.


and I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God; and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.


For as the belt cleaves to the waist of a man, so have I caused to cleave to me the whole house of Yisra'el and the whole house of Yehudah, says the LORD; that they may be to me for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear.


You shall be holy to me: for I, the LORD, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be mine.


At that time will I bring you in, and at that time will I gather you; for I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I bring back your captivity before your eyes, says the LORD.


(14:25) but now is revealed, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the mitzvah of the eternal God, is made known for obedience of faith to all the nations;


For you are a holy people to the LORD your God, and the LORD has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.


You shall therefore obey the voice of the LORD your God, and do his mitzvot and his statutes, which I command you this day.


It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to the voice of the LORD your God, to observe to do all his mitzvot which I command you this day, that the LORD your God will set you on high above all the nations of the earth:


The LORD will establish you for a holy people to himself, as he has sworn to you; if you shall keep the mitzvot of the LORD your God, and walk in his ways.


that he may establish you this day to himself for a people, and that he may be to you a God, as he spoke to you, and as he swore to your fathers, to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Ya`akov.


But the LORD has taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to be to him a people of inheritance, as at this day.


For you are a holy people to the LORD your God: the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.


who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.


But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
