Three times a year did Shlomo offer burnt offerings and shalom offerings on the altar which he built to the LORD, burning incense therewith, [on the altar] that was before the LORD. So he finished the house.


even as the duty of every day required, offering according to the mitzvah of Moshe, on the Shabbatot, and on the new moons, and on the set feasts, three times in the year, [even] in the feast of matzah, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of booths.


When the seventh month was come, and the children of Yisra'el were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Yerushalayim.


and that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Yerushalayim, saying, Go forth to the mountain, and get olive branches, and branches of wild olive, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.

They go from strength to strength. Everyone of them appears before God in Tziyon.

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come into his courts.
