And all the men of Yisra'el assembled themselves to the king at the feast, which was [in] the seventh month.


even as the duty of every day required, offering according to the mitzvah of Moshe, on the Shabbatot, and on the new moons, and on the set feasts, three times in the year, [even] in the feast of matzah, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of booths.


They kept the feast of booths, as it is written, and [offered] the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the ordinance, as the duty of every day required;


And the Chag-HaKatzir, the first fruits of your labors, which you sow in the field: and the Chag-HaKatzir, at the end of the year, when you gather in your labors out of the field.


You shall observe the feast of weeks with the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the Chag-HaKatzir at the year's end.


As for me, behold, I will dwell at Mitzpah, to stand before the Kasdim who shall come to us: but you, gather you wine and summer fruits and oil, and put them in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that you have taken.


Of the first of your dough you shall offer up a cake for a wave offering: as the wave offering of the threshing floor, so shall you heave it.


Now the Jewish festival, the Feast of Sukkot, was at hand.
