that God's sons saw that men's daughters were beautiful, and they took for themselves wives of all that they chose.


The Nefilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when God's sons came in to men's daughters. They bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.


They cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them.


For you are our Father, though Avraham doesn't know us, and Yisra'el does not acknowledge us: you, LORD, are our Father; our Redeemer from everlasting is your name.


Both great and small shall die in this land; they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them;


But I said, How I will put you among the children, and give you a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the armies of the nations! and I said, You shall call me My Father, and shall not turn away from following me.


They shall come with weeping; and with petitions will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they shall not stumble; for I am a father to Yisra'el, and Efrayim is my firstborn.


that there came men from Shekhem, from Shiloh, and from Shomron, even eighty men, having their beards shaved and their clothes torn, and having cut themselves, with meal offerings and frankincense in their hand, to bring them to the house of the LORD.


Baldness is come on `Aza; Ashkelon is brought to nothing, the remnant of their valley: how long will you cut yourself?


Yet the number of the children of Yisra'el will be as the sand of the sea, which can't be measured nor numbered; and it will come to pass that, in the place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' they will be called 'sons of the living God.'


*'They shall not shave their heads, neither shall they shave off the corners of their beards, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.


But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name:


and not for the nation only, but that he might also gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.


The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;

For you are all children of God, through faith in Messiah Yeshua.


when you shall listen to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep all his mitzvot which I command you this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD your God.


Do you thus requite the LORD, foolish people and unwise? Isn't he your father who has bought you? He has made you, and established you.


But we don't want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don't grieve like the rest, who have no hope.


For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.


In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn't do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn't love his brother.


By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his mitzvot.
