Kore the son of Yimna the Levite, the porter at the east [gate], was over the freewill offerings of God, to distribute the offerings of the LORD, and the most holy things.


The LORD appeared to Shlomo by night, and said to him, I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for a house of sacrifice.


Then stood up Yeshua the son of Yotzadak, and his brothers the Kohanim, and Zerubbavel the son of She'alti'el, and his brothers, and built the altar of the God of Yisra'el, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the Torah of Moshe the man of God.


also the firstborn of our sons, and of our livestock, as it is written in the Torah, and the firstborn of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, to the Kohanim who minister in the house of our God;


For the children of Yisra'el and the children of Levi shall bring the wave offering of the grain, of the new wine, and of the oil, to the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the Kohanim who minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.


I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call on the name of the LORD.


For in my holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Yisra'el, says the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Yisra'el, all of them, serve me in the land: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the first fruits of your offerings, with all your holy things.


*'If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before the LORD.


Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,* says the LORD of Armies, *if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough for.

that you shall take of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which you shall bring in from your land that the LORD your God gives you; and you shall put it in a basket, and shall go to the place which the LORD your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.


but it shall be a witness between us and you, and between our generations after us, that we may do the service of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our shalom offerings; that your children may not tell our children in time to come, You have no portion in the LORD.


The man Elkana, and all his house, went up to offer to the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.


When she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bulls, and one efah of meal, and a bottle of wine, and brought him to the house of the LORD in Shiloh: and the child was young.
