Yehudah and Yisra'el lived safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Be'er-Sheva, all the days of Shlomo.


Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to his people Yisra'el, according to all that he promised: there has not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by Moshe his servant.


Isn't the LORD your God with you? Hasn't he given you rest on every side? for he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.


In shalom I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, the LORD alone, make me live in safety.


He said, *My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.*


But whoever listens to me will dwell securely, and will be at ease, without fear of harm.*


In his days Yehudah shall be saved, and Yisra'el shall dwell safely; and this is his name by which he shall be called: the LORD our righteousness.


Behold, I will gather them out of all the countries, where I have driven them in my anger, and in my wrath, and in great indignation; and I will bring them again to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:


the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who say, Give thanks to the LORD of Armies, for the LORD is good, for his loving kindness endures forever; [and of them] who bring [sacrifices of] thanksgiving into the house of the LORD. For I will cause the captivity of the land to return as at the first, says the LORD.


They shall dwell securely therein; yes, they shall build houses, and plant vineyards, and shall dwell securely, when I have executed judgments on all those who do them despite round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.


I will make with them a covenant of shalom, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land; and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.


They shall no more be a prey to the nations, neither shall the animals of the earth devour them; but they shall dwell securely, and none shall make them afraid.


and you shall say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to those who are at rest, who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates;


After many days you shall be visited: in the latter years you shall come into the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, on the mountains of Yisra'el, which have been a continual waste; but it is brought forth out of the peoples, and they shall dwell securely, all of them.


For you are to pass over the Yarden to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God gives you, and you shall possess it, and dwell therein.


Go up to the top of Pisgah, and lift up your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and see with your eyes: for you shall not go over this Yarden.


Of Binyamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him. He covers him all the day long. He dwells between his shoulders.


Yisra'el dwells in safety; the fountain of Ya`akov alone, In a land of grain and new wine. Yes, his heavens drop down dew.


but I must die in this land, I must not go over the Yarden; but you shall go over, and possess that good land.


Hear, Yisra'el: you are to pass over the Yarden this day, to go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fortified up to the sky,


So Yehoshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD spoke to Moshe; and Yehoshua gave it for an inheritance to Yisra'el according to their divisions by their tribes. The land had rest from war.


These are the inheritances which the children of Yisra'el took in the land of Kena`an, which El`azar the Kohen, and Yehoshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers' [houses] of the tribes of the children of Yisra'el, distributed to them,


The Kohanim who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Yarden; and all Yisra'el passed over on dry ground, until all the nation were passed clean over the Yarden.


The children of Re'uven, and the children of Gad, and the half-tribe of Menasheh, passed over armed before the children of Yisra'el, as Moshe spoke to them:


Then Shemu'el took a stone, and set it between Mitzpah and Shen, and called the name of it Even-Ha`ezer, saying, Hitherto has the LORD helped us.
