Then Yeshaiyahu the son of Amotz sent to Chizkiyahu, saying, Thus says the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, Whereas you have prayed to me against Sancheriv king of Ashur, I have heard [you].


The sacrifice made by the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.


I am my beloved's. His desire is toward me.


though these three men, Noach, Daniyel, and Iyov, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, says the Lord GOD.


Son of man, behold, I take away from you the desire of your eyes with a stroke: yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, neither shall your tears run down.


They shall make a spoil of your riches, and make a prey of your merchandise; and they shall break down your walls, and destroy your pleasant houses; and they shall lay your stones and your timber and your dust in the midst of the waters.


In the third year of Koresh king of Paras a thing was revealed to Daniyel, whose name was called Belteshatzar; and the thing was true, even a great warfare: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.


He said, *Greatly beloved man, don't be afraid: shalom be to you, be strong, yes, be strong.* When he spoke to me, I was strengthened, and said, *Let my lord speak; for you have strengthened me.*


Then this Daniyel was distinguished above the presidents and the satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.


*When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniyel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),


Having come in, the angel said to her, *Rejoice, you highly favored one! The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women!*
