Then I beat them as small as the dust of the earth. I crushed them as the mire of the streets, and spread them abroad.


Who can open the doors of his face? Around his teeth is terror.


In the visions of God brought he me into Eretz-Yisra'el, and set me down on a very high mountain, whereon was as it were the frame of a city on the south.


Then was the secret revealed to Daniyel in a vision of the night. Then Daniyel blessed the God of heaven.


I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.


Daniyel spoke and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the sky broke forth on the great sea.


It grew great, even to the army of the sky; and some of the army and of the stars it cast down to the ground, and trampled on them.


As for that which was broken, in the place where four stood up, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not with his power.


I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.


Another sign was seen in heaven. Behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns.


Then I stood on the sand of the sea. I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads. On his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads, blasphemous names.


The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority as kings, with the beast, for one hour.


The angel said to me, *Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.


The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction. Those who dwell on the earth and whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see that the beast was, and is not, and shall be present.
