Give thanks to the God of gods; for his loving kindness endures forever.


The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.


There are many plans in a man's heart, but the LORD's counsel will prevail.


For the Lord, the LORD of Armies, will make a full end, and that determined, in the midst of all the earth.


For yet a very little while, and the indignation against you will be accomplished, and my anger will be directed to his destruction.*


Alas Ashur, the rod of my anger, the staff in whose hand is my indignation!


You said in your heart, *I will ascend into heaven! I will exalt my throne above the stars of God! I will sit on the mountain of assembly, in the far north!


I will ascend above the heights of the clouds! I will make myself like the Elyon!*


Come, my people, enter into your chambers, and shut your doors behind you. Hide yourself for a little moment, until the indignation is past.


For his burning place has long been ready. Yes, for the king it is made ready. He has made its pyre deep and large with fire and much wood. The LORD's breath, like a stream of sulfur, kindles it.


declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not [yet] done; saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure;

The king answered to Daniyel, and said, Of a truth your God is the God of gods, and the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing you have been able to reveal this secret.


All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, or tell him, What do you?


and because of the greatness that he gave him, all the peoples, nations, and languages trembled and feared before him: whom he would he killed, and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he raised up, and whom he would he put down.


But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened so that he dealt proudly, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:


I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots: and behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.


He said, Behold, I will make you know what shall be in the latter time of the indignation; for it belongs to the appointed time of the end.


I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; and no animals could stand before him, neither was there any who could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and magnified himself.


For, behold, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, who will not visit those who are cut off, neither will seek those who are scattered, nor heal that which is broken, nor feed that which is sound; but he will eat the flesh of the fat sheep, and will tear their hoofs in pieces.


I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I don't seek my own will, but the will of my Father who sent me.


For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.


to do whatever your hand and your council foreordained to happen.


For the LORD your God, he is God of gods, and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who doesn't regard persons, nor takes reward.


Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be, unless the departure comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction,


he who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped; so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.


Then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will kill with the breath of his mouth, and destroy by the manifestation of his coming;


The Mighty One, God, the LORD, the Mighty One, God, the LORD, he knows; and Yisra'el he shall know: if it be in rebellion, or if in trespass against the LORD (don't save us this day),


but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as he declared to his servants, the prophets.


Two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, so that she might be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.


Then I stood on the sand of the sea. I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads. On his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads, blasphemous names.


For God has put in their hearts to do what he has in mind, and to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.


He carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-colored animal, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.
