and that Ya`akov obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Paddan-Aram 1.


*Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the LORD your God gives you.


Whoever curses his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in blackness of darkness.


There is a generation that curses their father, and doesn't bless their mother.


*The eye that mocks at his father, and scorns obedience to his mother: the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, the young eagles shall eat it.


My son, keep your father's mitzvah, and don't forsake your mother's teaching.


We have obeyed the voice of Yehonadav the son of Rechav, our father, in all that he charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, or our daughters;


In you have they set light by father and mother; in the midst of you have they dealt by oppression with the foreigner; in you have they wronged the fatherless and the widow.

'Honor your father and mother.' And, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'*


But as the assembly is subject to Messiah, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.


Cursed be he who sets light by his father or his mother. All the people shall say, Amein.


*Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God commanded you; that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you, in the land which the LORD your God gives you.
