So the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away; and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; and the hand of the LORD was strong on me.


*Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.


I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.


But Sha'ul ravaged the assembly, entering into every house, and dragged both men and women off to prison.


But Sha'ul, still breathing threats and slaughter against the talmidim of the Lord, went to the Kohen Gadol,


All who heard him were amazed, and said, *Isn't this he who in Yerushalayim made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief Kohanim!*


It happened, as Kefa went throughout all those parts, he came down also to the holy ones who lived at Lud.


He gave her his hand, and raised her up. Calling the holy ones and widows, he presented her alive.
