But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another.


You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moshe and Aharon.


The angel of God, who went before the camp of Yisra'el, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud moved from before them, and stood behind them.


It happened in the morning watch, that the LORD looked out on the Egyptian army through the pillar of fire and of cloud, and confused the Egyptian army.


He said, *Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you plan to kill me, as you killed the Egyptian?* Moshe was afraid, and said, *Surely this thing is known.*


Now go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you. Behold, my angel shall go before you. Nevertheless in the day when I punish, I will punish them for their sin.*


I will send an angel before you; and I will drive out the Kena`ani, the Amori, and the Chittite, and the Perizzi, the Chivvi, and the Yevusi:


In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.

*Let all the house of Yisra'el therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Messiah, this Yeshua whom you crucified.*


For Moshe indeed said to the fathers, 'The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things whatever he says to you.


God exalted him with his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance to Yisra'el, and remission of sins.


*When forty years were fulfilled, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in a flame of fire in a bush.


*You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit! As your fathers did, so you do.

For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense;


They sang the song of Moshe, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, *Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty! Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations.

When Ya`akov was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried to the LORD, then the LORD sent Moshe and Aharon, who brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them to dwell in this place.
