Also on Yehudah came the hand of God to give them one heart, to do the mitzvah of the king and of the princes by the word of the LORD.


Now in the first year of Koresh king of Paras, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Yirmeyahu might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Koresh king of Paras, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and [put it] also in writing, saying,


Then rose up the heads of fathers' [houses] of Yehudah and Binyamin, and the Kohanim, and the Levites, even all whose spirit God had stirred to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Yerushalayim.


Blessed be the LORD, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Yerushalayim;


They came, everyone whose heart stirred him up, and everyone whom his spirit made willing, and brought the LORD's offering, for the work of the tent of meeting, and for all of its service, and for the holy garments.


The children of Yisra'el brought a freewill offering to the LORD; every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all the work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by Moshe.


Moshe went and returned to Yitro his father-in-law, and said to him, *Please let me go and return to my brothers who are in Egypt, and see whether they are still alive.* Yitro said to Moshe, *Go in peace.*


Moshe was eighty years old, and Aharon eighty-three years old, when they spoke to Par`oh.


The king's heart is in the LORD's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires.


After some days Sha'ul said to Bar-Nabba, *Let's return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.*


Seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him who was oppressed, striking the Egyptian.


But thanks be to God, who puts the same earnest care for you into the heart of Titus.


Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.


For God has put in their hearts to do what he has in mind, and to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.
