Then Tzidkiyahu the son of Kena`anah came near, and struck Mikhayahu on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak to you?


Then Tzidkiyahu the son of Kena`anah came near, and struck Mikhayahu on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak to you?


They have gaped on me with their mouth. They have struck me on the cheek reproachfully. They gather themselves together against me.


Then Pashchur struck Yirmeyahu the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the upper gate of Binyamin, which was in the house of the LORD.


Now you shall gather yourself in troops, daughter of troops. He has laid siege against us. They will strike the judge of Yisra'el with a rod on the cheek.


Then they spit in his face and beat him with their fists, and some slapped him,


When he had said this, one of the officers standing by slapped Yeshua with his hand, saying, *Do you answer the Kohen Gadol like that?*


Yeshua answered him, *If I have spoken evil, testify of the evil; but if well, why do you beat me?*


After five days, the Kohen Gadol, Chananyah, came down with certain elders and an orator, one Tertullus. They informed the governor against Sha'ul.
